Crossbows and arrows stolen from a Leicestershire property have been used to damage property, police have warned.
The equipment was taken from a premises on Leicester Road, Loughborough, overnight on Wednesday.
Officers called to reports of damage in the Shelthorpe area found an arrow stuck in a fence and recovered others.
Police said about 18 crossbows and a large number of arrows were still missing. Three teenagers have been arrested and are being questioned.
Insp Mark Cuddihy, commander of Loughborough local policing unit, said: "The archery equipment stolen during the incident can be very dangerous in the wrong hands and I would ask that anyone who finds them or has them in their possession to contact police immediately.
"I would like to reassure the public that we are treating this incident very seriously and are carrying out an extensive investigation."
