Shopping is of course important to many
people. Make sure you cruise through the
Shires and the surrounding streets, don't
just stay on the main road as there are
shops down the side roads.
Leicester The Shires shopping centre,
large number of shopping outlets
Well, well, there is only one place
to shop in Leicester, and that has to
be The Wardrobe! They have these fab new
skirts in there, covered in Fireman Sam
and Care Bears and Anime characters -
they're brilliant! They always have the
best tunes rocking through the place too.
It's positioned on Silver Street, opposite
the Malcolm Arcade....nice little road
that.
Whether it be Fosse Park, Shires, Haymarket
or Beaumont Leys, every shopping mall
in Leicester will have something for you.
For clothes, theere are many shops such
as TK Maxx and H & M in the Haymarket
shopping centre. If you are into more
unique clothes, the Lanes will be a shopping
heaven for you. Lined with coffee shops
and tattoo parlours, the Lanes can suit
every bizarre taste. If you're a bit more
traditional and you'd like to support
your local market traders, Leicester has
the biggest market in Europe. Now that's
something to be proud of!
